Redburn House

Redburn House is a friendly bed and breakfast with self-catering accommodation, in Lochmaddy, on the Isle of North Uist, between Harris and Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides. Offering Visit Scotland 3 and 4-Star rated facilities with stunning sea views, the accommodation is only half-a-mile from the ferry terminal to the Isle of Skye.

There are 4 bedrooms in the main house, including a double, twin and a family suite for 4. All have en suite facilities and there is improved access and a disabled-friendly shower room for those with mobility needs. Guests enjoy a continental buffet-breakfast in the morning, and there is car parking and covered bike storage.

In addition, The Boat House sleeps 3 or 4 people, with a double and a single bed in the gallery bedroom, plus there is an extra folding bed if required. The Studio, for 2, provides a double bed in a mezzanine area, whereas the spacious 5-bedroomed Sunrise Apartment sleeps up to 13 people. All feature self-catering facilities.

Uist is a paradise for lovers of the great outdoors and is characterised by its landscape of peat bogs, lochans and beautiful beaches. There are several prehistoric sites, such as the huge chambered burial cairn of Barpa Langais. Some of Britain’s rarest birds live here and there are seal colonies off the west coast, on the Monach Islands.
