Bothan Beag Geal

Bothan Beag Geal is a traditional Hebridean bothy sleeping 2 - 4 guests, in the heart of the Isle of Lewis, midway between Tarbert and Stornoway. Situated in a secluded rural setting surrounded by open croftland and with loch views, it is ideally placed and comfortable as a base for exploring the attractions of Lewis and Harris.

The interior is stylishly furnished, featuring an L-shaped open plan living room with sofa, futon sofa bed, armchairs looking out towards the patio door, a breakfast bar and a fully-equipped kitchenette with a washing machine and integrated cooker. The bedroom has a double bed and the bathroom has a walk-in shower.

Outside, there is a seating area in the garden and private off-road car parking. In an area offering numerous scenic walks and cycling routes, including the Hebridean Way, it is also a bird, wildlife-watchers and anglers paradise. Visitors will find a post office, gallery, bistro and coffee shop in Balallan, which is close by.
