The Byre Northton

The Byre is a sensitively-renovated stone former cow shed situated in the small hamlet of Northton, located in the south-west of the Isle of Harris. Providing a cosy island retreat for 2 guests and featuring contemporary self-catering facilities, the property hosts stunning Mount Chiapaval and Northton Bay SSSI views.

A unique feature of The Byre is its upstairs lounge / observation room in the tower. There is a downstairs open plan living room with windows along the roof, a wood burning stove, seating, Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, dining table and kitchenette. A double bedroom and stylish shower room completes the inside.

Wifi is available throughout the house and there is a gravelled patio area, off-road car parking and secure storage for bicycles. Visitors will find a beautiful sandy beach, the ruins of a medieval temple and a small bakery within walking distance, and ferries to the Isle of Berneray from Leverburgh just a short drive away.
