Murrister

In a secluded setting on Unst Island in the Shetlands, Murrister is a traditional licenced crofting cottage which has been converted into a self-catering holiday home for 4 people, surrounded by open fields with cows, sheep and Shetland ponies, and providing views across to the waters of Uyeasound.

This home-from-home property features a beamed living room with a multi-fuel burning stove, comfortable chairs and a television. There is also a sitting room with additional seating and a coal burning-effect electric fire. The kitchen is well-equipped and includes a handy washer / dryer.

The double and twin bedrooms are upstairs. There is also a bathroom. Outside the cottage is a small garden and parking. There are walks from the doors, with fishing sites and sandy beaches close by, as well as the ruins of Muness Castle.
