Glen Orchy House

Glen Orchy House Bed and Breakfast is situated in Lerwick, the main town and port of the Shetland Isles. The property was built in 1904 as a convent for the Episcopalian church, then used as the town’s rectory from 1920 to 1969. In the present day, visitors will find a friendly place to stay with excellent amenities.

Guest bedrooms are equipped with thermostatically-controlled underfloor heating, a TV and Wifi. There are single, double, twin, triple and family rooms, with accessible rooms available on the ground floor for those with mobility difficulties. Facilities include a laundry service and luggage storage, plus there is free parking.

In the morning, breakfast options include a full cooked Scottish, kippers or smoked haddock please request day before required, also with a self-serve continental-style buffet. For evening meals, our sister restaurant ‘Phu Siam’ provides a taste of Thailand, located a short walk away. The house is also nearby to both the ferry port and local bus stations.
