Ardconnel

Ardconnel is a family-run B & B located a mile outside Kirkwall, the largest town on Mainland Orkney. Providing views across the harbour and bay, and only 10-minutes walk down to the Bay of Wayland, it provides a scenic setting and a comfortable place to stay for a host of travellers visiting the island, including walkers and cyclists.

All bedrooms are spacious and equipped with modern en suite shower room facilities, complimentary local toiletries, a TV with Freeview channels, free Wifi access, hairdryer and hospitality tray for making tea and coffee. There are double and twin rooms. Guests are also welcome to use the sitting / dining room or the garden area.

A full cooked Scottish, continental or smoked salmon breakfast is served in the morning, with special diets accommodated with advance notice. Dogs are welcome with prior permission. There is parking and secure storage for motorcycles, bikes and equipment. The ferry terminal to Aberdeen and Lerwick is only 5-minutes’ away.
