Netherbutton Cottages

Netherbutton Cottages are 2 self-catering holiday homes hosting views across Scapa Flow on Mainland Orkney, only 3 miles from the outskirts of Kirkwall. This is a peaceful location surrounded by farmland and the cottages offer Visit Scotland 4-Star rated facilities, with a Grade C listed historic dry-stone dyke surrounding the garden.

There is a lounge with sofas, TV and DVD player, plus a kitchen including a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and dining table. There is also a bathroom, Wifi, central heating, garden and car parking. One Netherbutton sleeps 6 in a double and 2 twin bedrooms, and Two Netherbutton sleeps 4 in a double and a twin room.

Our cottages are nearby to many of the popular Orkney tourist attractions including the Churchill Barriers, Italian Chapel, Highland Park Distillery and the St Magnus Cathedral in Kirkwall. The location also provides easy access to all other popular sites on Orkney Mainland and is close to the ferry terminals for day trips and island-hopping.
