The White Horse Dorking is an 18th century coaching inn with parts that date back to the 1200s. Providing a comfortable place to stay on the edge of the North Downs, Charles Dickens is said to have stayed at the hotel whilst writing The Pickwick Papers. The inn has a contemporary feel, which is coupled with original character.
The 56 bedrooms span the main inn and adjacent converted stable blocks. Each bedroom is very comfortable and equipped with en suite facilities. There are small doubles for lone travellers, king size rooms, twin rooms, plus the 2 mini-suites with their lounge area. Some of the rooms are dog-friendly. A superb breakfast is included.
The Dozen Restaurant, Bar and Café is open throughout the day providing refreshments, meals and a selection of drinks. There are also 3 meeting rooms which can be hired for special events. Away break packages, including those in partnership with Denbies Vineyard, are also available. Please visit the website for more details.
