The Old Rectory Cottages

The Old Rectory Cottages comprises 5 one-bedroomed family and dog-friendly holiday homes situated in the village of Flixton, near Bungay. Sensitively converted from an old Victorian rectory to offer Visit England 4-Star Gold rated self-catering accommodation, these properties are nestled in 7 acres of beautiful private grounds with an apple, pear and plum tree orchard. The cottages have also been awarded a Green Tourism Gold Award.

The Butler’s Pantry is a studio-style cottage for 2 featuring a super king bed in the living room, and The Pump House is a 1-bedroomed home for 2 guests with a super king bed / twin bedroom. Sam’s Stable and The Old Coach House are on ground floor level and both suitable for guests with mobility difficulties, with a king size bedroom. Orchard View Lodge is a cosy haven for 2 guests in the orchard, also featuring a king size bedroom.

The cottages each provide individual charm and include a TV and DVD player in the living area, equipped kitchen including a dishwasher; wet room, plus a garden. The grounds are a haven for a plethora of local flora and fauna and as well as the orchard, there is a wildlife pond.
