The Alma Inn

The Alma Inn is an 18th century former coaching inn found in Laneshawbridge, near Colne. Offering good food, a well-stocked bar, beamed ceilings, open fires and bedrooms; couples, families and walkers are welcome, with the Lancashire Way Walk less than half a mile away.

All of the guest bedrooms are furnished to a high standard, with en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, TV, hairdryer and hospitality tray. There are double or twin rooms and the superior double room with its stone mullion windows, coffee machine and spa bath.

Room-only; bed and breakfast; or dinner, bed and breakfast rates are available. The inn is open throughout the day, serving a menu of excellent food, including fresh fish and classic meat dishes, as well as local ales. The pub offers an outside seating area and car parking.

Dog-friendly, The Alma has views of moorland from inside the pub and no shortage of places to walk dogs right from the doorstep. Hurstwood Reservoir, Townley Park and Pendle Hill, all within a 7-mile drive of the inn provide dog-owner recommended walks.
