The Thatched House

The Thatched House is a charming bed and breakfast located in the village of Thompson. A 16th century cottage with endearing features including a thatched roof, beamed ceilings and stone walls, it is surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the Breckland district of Norfolk.

There are 3 bedrooms; the 2 twin rooms are on the ground floor offering private bathroom facilities, and the double room upstairs has an en suite bathroom. Refreshments are available in each room and guests can also sit out in the lawned garden. Breakfast is served in the morning.

There is a welcoming thatched inn a short walk away serving both food and drink, plus a handy post office. Thetford Forest Park is close by for scenic walks and there are many places to go cycling and fishing. Watton town, 3 miles away, has a golf course, shops and restaurants.
