The Sculthorpe Mill

The Sculthorpe Mill is a beautiful country pub with guest rooms. Dating from 1757, this former watermill is set over the River Wensum in Sculthorpe, providing a cosy restaurant with great food, friendly bar and beautiful gardens. This pub is also one of only two pubs in England to receive a Michelin Bib Gourmand Award 2022.

Beamed ceilings are visible throughout the building, even in most of the bedrooms. All offer views of the garden or river and are equipped with a double or king bed, en suite facilities, local toiletries, Wifi, Bluetooth speakers and a coffee pod machine. One of the rooms sleeps up to 3 with a sofa bed, and dog-friendly rooms are available.

Menus at The Sculthorpe Mill focus on local produce from land and sea, with amazing fresh ingredients sourced from a range of local suppliers. The award-winning food can be enjoyed both inside and out; with breakfast, lunch, Sunday lunch and main meals served. The bar serves local ciders, ales, craft beers and English wines.

Located near the Georgian market town of Fakenham, Sculthorpe Mill is surrounded by farming land and next door to Sculthorpe Moor Hawk and Owl Trust. Sculthorpe Mill is just a stone’s throw from the stunning North Norfolk Coast, and the stately homes of Sandringham, Houghton and Holkham are all within a 20-minute drive.
