Broomfarm Guest House

A warm welcome awaits travellers at Broomfarm Guest House in the village of Broompark. The village is located on the site of a former colliery, about 3 miles from Durham. One of the oldest buildings in the village, dating from 1711, guests will now find comfortable accommodation and home cooked breakfasts.

There are double and twin rooms, with some rooms benefiting from en suite facilities. Each is attractively decorated and equipped with a TV and refreshment tray for making tea and coffee. In the morning, a full cooked English breakfast is served, with our own home-made preserves available to sample.

There is private on-site car parking available and regular buses to the city centre stop right outside the guest house. The area provides excellent walks and cycling routes, as well as places to go fishing. Neville’s Cross is a mile away and has pubs, a restaurant and shops, with Durham offering many more amenities.
