Rivers Edge Cottage is a beautifully-converted barn situated along the shores of the River Derwent, in the village of Shotley Bridge, adjoining Consett. Offering self-catering accommodation for 4 people, with a beautiful garden, the property is located on the fringes of the North Pennines and excellent for walking, cycling and holidays.

All on ground floor level, with stone walls and beamed ceilings adding to its abundant charm, there is a large sitting room with sofas, wood burning stove in the stone fireplace, TV, DVD player, dining table and French doors leading to the garden. There is also a well-equipped self-catering kitchen with a breakfast table / chairs.

There is a master king size bedroom and there is a twin bedroom and circular bathroom. Free Wifi is available throughout. Outside, there is a garden by the river and parking. Consett has a good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and attractions. Jumbo Jungle amusement park is popular with younger visitors.
