Mayland Farm Cottage

Mayland Farm Cottage is situated on a working hill farm, 11 miles west of Bishop Auckland and 7 miles north of Barnard Castle. A Visit England 4-Star rated self-catering holiday home, situated on the edge of the North Pennines overlooking Hamsterley Forest, it provides a quiet and scenic location for families, friends and pets.

The cottage sleeps 5 guests and is all on one level. The lounge features a leather suite, TV, DVD player and coal burning-effect electric fire. There is also a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, separate dining room, 2 double bedrooms, a single room and a family size bathroom with bath and separate shower enclosure.

Laundry facilities are provided in the utility room and Wifi is available throughout. Outside is a garden area and off-road parking for 2 cars. There are great walks around the area and Hamsterley Bike Park is only a mile away for mountain biking. Other attractions include Spurlswood Beck Waterfall and Raby Castle and Gardens.
