Clarence House Holidays offer a collection of 4 superb self-catering holiday apartments and 4 rooms converted from this Victorian-era villa in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. Experienced host Ros bought the accommodation after appearing on TVs ‘Escape to the Country’ programme and provides a warm welcome to all! Shanklin Station is only 4 minutes’ walk away from Clarence House and has connections to Portsmouth, Waterloo and Victoria.

All of the apartments have attractive décor and are well-equipped for self-catering holidays, with kitchen facilities, television, Wifi access and modern bath / shower room facilities. Visitors staying up to 3 nights receive a welcome pack with tea, fresh coffee, milk, water and biscuits, with locally-sourced items where possible. Those staying 4 nights or more receive a hamper with these items, plus free range eggs, bread or cake and a treat!

Individually named, the apartments sleep either 2, 4 or 6 guests. Clarence House Cottage is detached from the main house and on ground floor level. Sleeping 4, it has a double bedroom, sofa bed, kitchen and private decking outside. The location is perfect for outdoors enthusiasts, with cycling and running routes, as well as spectacular coastal walks. Visit Shanklin Chine and the beautiful Old Shanklin village, plus the safe, sandy beaches.
