Northcourt

Northcourt is a grand Jacobean manor house offering superb bed and breakfast accommodation on the edge of the village of Shorwell, 5 miles from Newport. Built in 1615, the property is surrounded by 15 acres of beautiful grounds with walled gardens, woodland and a stream, providing an idyllic setting for short breaks and holidays on the Isle of Wight.

The Mary Gordon Room has a king size bed and a en suite. The Sir John Leigh Room is a large king room with excellent views from the bay window and a spacious en suite bathroom with freestanding roll-top bath and walk-in shower. Both rooms can be arranged with twin beds if preferred, and have seating, a TV, Wifi and hospitality tray.

A full English breakfast is served in the morning, with homemade bread and preserves provided. Tea is also available in the sitting room or outside upon arrival. Guests can explore the gardens, play croquet on the lawn, have a game of tennis or play on the full-size snooker table in the library. Owners John and Christie can also arrange tours around the manor. Minimum stay of 3 nights.
