Hewitts House Hotel and Restaurant

Hewitt’s Restaurant and Rooms is situated in the centre of Newport, the main town on the Isle of Wight. A charming Georgian townhouse providing a menu of excellent food, plus luxurious guest rooms, just a stone’s throw from the many shops and attractions, it is ideal for a cosy escape or stopover when touring the island.

The 6 newly-decorated bedrooms are located up a winding staircase above the restaurant. Each has benefitted from recent refurbishment and is equipped with en suite / private bathroom facilities, a TV, desk and hospitality tray. There are 2 Superior Deluxe Rooms with room for an extra bed if required, a Deluxe King / Twin, Standard King Double, Double Room and a Budget Double with a private shower room down the hall.

Breakfast is served in the restaurant in the morning. Hewitt’s Restaurant is also open to all for evening dinner, Sunday lunches and at lunchtimes on a Friday and Saturday. The diverse menu showcases the area’s finest and freshest ingredients, including seafood sourced from around the island, plus vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
