The Star Inn 1744

The Star Inn 1744 is a Visit England 4-Star Silver rated gastropub with accommodation in the Leicestershire village of Thrussington. Built in the mid-18th century, with many characterful and charming features including the beamed ceilings still intact, the inn overlooks the village green and provides a welcoming setting.

The 9 bedrooms include super king / twin-bedded, king size rooms and a family suite with a super king bedroom including a mini suite or attractive bridal suite. Each has en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, a TV, free Wifi, hairdryer and refreshments tray. A continental breakfast is included, with the option to upgrade to a full English.

Both resident and non-resident guests are welcome to enjoy our menu of food, which is served throughout the day from breakfast, all made with fresh local ingredients. Takeaways are also available. The traditional bar serves a wide selection of drinks, and outside, is a popular covered beer garden and free guest car parking.
