Clockmakers House B&B

The Clockmakers House Bed and Breakfast offers boutique-style bedrooms in the centre of the Leicestershire market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch. This fascinating building features parts dating back to the late 16th century and it was once the workshop of former clockmaker Robert Pegg in 1793, with one of his grandfather clocks displayed in the entrance of the house. This B & B is prestigiously Visit England 4-Star rated.

Furnished to a high standard, each of the 3 rooms are named after their dominant colour. The Yellow Room is a twin room in the attic with exposed beams, a Victorian fireplace and en suite bathroom. The Green Room is full of exquisite charm with a double brass bed, Victorian fireplace and en suite bathroom. Finally, The Blue Room is a family room with exposed beams, a double bed, single boat bed and en suite shower room.

All of the guest bedrooms are equipped with a TV, DVD player, free Wifi access and hospitality tray for making in-room tea and coffee. There is also a sitting room providing an alternative space in which guests can relax. In the morning, a hearty breakfast is served, including menu choices such as a full cooked English, smoked kippers or homemade muesli. Special diets are happily accommodated with prior notice.
