Airdaniar Cottage

Airdaniar Cottage is a detached holiday home situated on the Applecross Peninsula at Kalnakill. Accommodating 4 people, with far-reaching views across the sea towards the islands of the Inner Hebrides, it provides a scenic and peaceful setting for sight-seeing, walking, cycling, climbing or fishing holidays in Scotland’s Highlands region.

Refurbished from an 18th century former crofting cottage, the interior has been furnished to a high standard, retaining some original characteristic features, whilst also offering sea views from almost every room. The lounge has an open fire in the classic fireplace, a 3-piece suite, TV, DVD player and mini stereo. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering holidays and includes a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The dining room has a circular table with 4 chairs. There is a double and a twin bedroom upstairs and a family bathroom.

Outside the cottage is an extensive garden with a patio and seating area. There is also plenty of guest car parking space. A secluded sandy beach is found just 4 miles away and a restaurant, art museum and inn are slightly further on, in a place affectionately called ‘Shore Street’ by the locals.
