Culkein Bay Chalets

Culkein Bay Chalets in Sutherland provide a tranquil and scenic location for a holiday break in the Scottish Highlands, in a remote fishing village, 10 miles north of Lochinver which provides a visitor centre, shopping, pubs and restaurants. Dogs are welcome to stay at the chalets with prior agreement from the owners.

Each chalet sleeps 4 guests. Burnside and Brisbane have a double and a twin bedroom, whereas Bayview has a double and 2 singles. Each timber chalet has an open plan living area with a TV, seating, kitchenette and stunning views from the picture windows. They also have a bath / shower room, outside seating and parking.

There is a sandy beach nearby and the chalets are within walking distance to The Old Man of Stoer, a 60-metre high sea stack rock formation made from sandstone which is popular with climbers and photographers. The area hosts fishing, hiking opportunities and wildlife all around, providing an area which is a joy to explore.
