Sgarbh Lodge

Sgarbh Lodge is a vegetarian and vegan B & B near Glendale on the Isle of Skye. A former croft house dating back over 100 years and overlooking Loch Pooltiel, the house name means ‘cormorant’ in Gaelic and visitors may get to see some of these aquatic birds, along with the seals that sometimes bask on the small island in the loch!

There are 2 guest bedrooms, both offering uninterrupted views across the water and equipped with an en suite shower room, locally-made toiletries, a double / king size bed, TV, Wifi, hairdryer, fridge and hospitality tray with home-made cakes. A single room may also be booked alongside the main rooms for an additional person.

Breakfast is served in the comfort of your room in the morning from a wide-ranging menu, including porridge, home-made granola or a full vegan or vegetarian with scrambled tofu and a homemade tattie scone. There is on-site parking and a craft shop selling bespoke artwork created from natural materials found on the island.
