The Black Swan

The Black Swan is a charming 16th century holiday cottage overlooking the green in the village of South Mimms, close to the A1(M) and M25 interchange for day trips to London and beyond. Providing modern self-catering facilities for 2 to 4 people, the house retains beautiful low ceilings and exposed wooden beams.

Inside, there is a cosy sitting room with a sofa bed, comfy armchairs, a wood burning-effect electric heater and television. There is also a well-equipped kitchen with dining table / chairs. The bedroom has a double bed. Outside, the cottage benefits from a garden area with a raised terrace and lawn.

The Black Horse is a pub in the village. Just a few miles away, Potters Bar provides a selection of shops, supermarkets, pubs, places to eat and a railway station with trains to London King’s Cross. Local attractions include the de Havilland Aircraft Museum, Potters Bar Museum and the National Trust’s Morvan Park.
