Dalmonds Barn

For a quiet and scenic holiday in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, Dalmond’s Barns are 5 beautiful self-catering properties situated just 3 miles outside the county town of Hertford. Family and dog-friendly, all have an open plan living area with a TV, Wifi and fully-equipped kitchen. Outside, is a lawned area and parking.

Each barn has been sensitively refurbished, providing contemporary facilities whilst retaining exposed beams and vaulted ceilings. Appletree is a cosy cottage for 2 guests, featuring a flexible king or twin-bedded room, en suite wet room, living room sofa bed and improved access for wheelchair users. Moat Cottage sleeps 3 and has a triple en suite bedroom in the converted hayloft, with a double and a single bed. The other 3 cottages are 2-bedroomed, sleeping 4 or 5 with a double and a twin bedroom, plus room for an extra folding bed in some.

The fast train link to London (30 minutes) makes the barns an ideal spot for visiting the sights whilst staying in the countryside. Cambridge, Oxford and Windsor are also within easy travelling distance, with the A10 and A414 roads just 5 minutes down the lane and the M25, M11 and M1 all just 15 minutes away. Dalmond’s is also within easy reach of the London airports of Stanstead, Luton and Heathrow.
