The Sword Inn Hand

Welcome to The Sword Inn Hand, a 14th century free house situated in the picturesque Hertfordshire village of Westmill, hosting views of the 13th Century church and out into the rural open countryside. The inn is located a mile south of the market town of Buntingford. Offering stylish guest rooms, home cooked food and a well-stocked bar with traditional ales, owners Jeremy and Hannah will ensure everyone has an enjoyable stay.

The 4 rooms are decorated in a style that reflects the countryside and are named after British trees. Ash, Beech and Chestnut are all double rooms with luxurious en suite facilities, whereas Oak is a 4-poster room with a roll-top bath in the en suite bathroom, ideal for special occasions. All bedrooms have complimentary toiletries, Freeview TV, free Wifi, a coffee machine and beverage tray. A continental breakfast will be delivered to your room for overnight stays in the week and a full English breakfast is served in the pub at weekends.

Guests can also enjoy delicious main meals made from the very best fresh local ingredients, with a pint of real ale or fine cocktail from the bar, either inside or outside in the peaceful garden area.
