The Forest Lodge

Forest Lodge is an 18th century former coaching inn situated in the Nottinghamshire village of Edwinstowe, adjacent to the world-famous Sherwood Forest, home of Robin Hood! AA 4-Star rated and with a Dinner Award, this family-owned establishment has free Wifi, car parking and provides a very warm welcome to travellers.

The inn has been awarded an accessibility rating, with wheelchair-friendly rooms. There are double, twin, triple and family rooms; all very comfortable and equipped with en suite facilities, a TV, Wifi access, hairdryer and hospitality tray. Breakfast includes options such as The Forest Lodge Grill, smoked haddock and poached egg, waffle with bacon and maple syrup, Eggs Royale or Benedict and more.

Relax in the bar or outside on the patio and try our own Forest Lodge Pale Ale which is specially produced by the Wellbeck Abbey Brewery. The timber-beamed restaurant serves a menu of excellent food at lunch and in the evening, with a classics, bar meals and specials, made from fresh local produce.
