The Royal Lion Hotel

The Royal Lion Hotel is superbly situated, just 100 metres from the crystal blue sea of Lyme Bay. Built in 1601, the hotel is a mix of rustic charm with oak beams and an open fire to warmly welcome you inside, with modern convenience alongside. Boasting facilities such as a well-stocked bar, free Wifi, excellent restaurant, lounges as well as an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna, we also have a private car park for guests.

The hotel has a range of rooms; standard rooms; courtyard rooms set on the ground floor on our private courtyard; traditional rooms set in the original area of the hotel; patio rooms which open out onto a communal patio area; balcony rooms offering stunning views; superior rooms which are larger and have a seating area and our historical King Edward room. All include Freeview televisions, tea and coffee making facilities, telephone, alarm clock, hair drier, fan and en-suite bathroom (or shower). The Oak Room Restaurant is open for breakfast every morning.
