The Wykeham Arms Inn

The Wykeham Arms Inn is an award-winning pub with guest rooms situated on Kingsgate Street in the centre of the City of Winchester. This mid-18th century former coaching inn has been extensively and tastefully modernised, yet still retains many period features; offering AA 2-Rosette awarded food, a traditional bar with real ales and luxurious guest accommodation.

All rooms are beautifully decorated, offering en suite bath / shower facilities, Cole and Lewis toiletries, a TV, telephone, Wifi, desk and hospitality tray with Nespresso coffee machine. There are single, luxury double rooms with queen size beds, and double suites which have period features, a roll top bath and seating area. The Garden Suite has a separate living room, plus a queen size bed and sofa bed in the mezzanine. Dogs are allowed in some rooms with prior agreement. Breakfast is included.

The inn has been proudly awarded 2 AA Rosettes, with a food menu providing dishes crafted from a seasonal mix of high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients. The bar is stocked with a wide range of drinks including cask ales, fine wines, spirits and soft drinks. Our sister establishment, Saint George Tea Rooms, is just opposite providing delicious homemade cakes, sandwiches and afternoon tea.
