Heronshaw House

Heronshaw House is a 17th-century stone-built farmhouse run by hosts Mike and Andrea, offering modern and comfortable accommodation, but retaining some of the original rustic features of the building. Beautifully situated in the heart of rural Dorset, the bed and breakfast is conveniently close to good transport links. We offer immaculately-presented single, king-size and super king / twin rooms with en-suite shower facilities. After a great nights sleep, experience our first-class breakfast with a buffet selection and then either Continental or Full English option. Guests can enjoy the drawing room which is perfect for relaxation on warm summer evenings or cosy up in front of the open fire in the cooler months. We are a dog-friendly establishment.

Heronshaw House is found on the edge of The New Forest, which is a National Park covering 566 square kilometres with river valleys, heathland and woodland full of diverse flora and fauna. You will see ponies, deer and cattle roaming the land and find a place perfect for walking, fishing, cycling and horse riding. Bournemouth is just a 10-minute drive, and Christchurch is also close by, with award-winning beaches, a charming harbour and quay, coastal nature reserves and fascinating history. Heronshaw is the only hotel within walking distance of Bournemouth Airport and can offer long-stay parking if required and offer a shuttle bus service to the airport.
