Royal Yeoman Bed and Breakfast

The Royal Yeoman was once the village inn, and now offers spacious and well-appointed accommodation in Dorset. Proprietors Sue and Garry Steel offer the warmest of welcomes to their establishment, a beautiful old building with a designated guest lounge with TV, lovely gardens and secure overnight parking. There are 5 guest rooms which are all equipped with TV, free Wifi connectivity and a hospitality tray. Room 1 is a spacious en-suite super king-size room with garden and countryside views. Room 2 is a double en-suite with a front outlook (another double can be added to make a twin or to sleep 3). Rooms 3 and 4 are double en-suite rooms with a front outlook. Room 5 is a single room with a private bathroom and WC with a rear outlook. Breakfast encompasses a buffet, followed by a Continental or Full English option.

The Royal Yeoman is situated on the A37 in the hamlet of Grimstone, 4 miles north of Dorchester, a thriving market town full of great shops and attractions, coupled with a rich history. Visit the many museums or take the Durnovaria Interactive Town Walk to learn about the past. Just a few minutes drive away will see you in the midst of rolling green countryside and walking country, or take a scenic to the coast where you will find a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the Jurassic Coast, and some of the most spectacular scenery in Britain.
