The Gin Trap Inn

The Gin Trap Inn is a 17th century country inn located in the historic village of Ringstead, 4 miles from Hunstanton. Providing luxurious accommodation, homecooked food and a friendly bar, this inn has been welcoming locals, travellers and even smugglers for centuries! There are 13 boutique-style guest rooms and 3 stylish cottages for those who prefer self-catering accommodation.

Each room is furnished to a high standard and equipped with an en suite bath / shower room, Wifi access, a Smart TV, DAB radio and hospitality tray for making tea and coffee. Some rooms have a separate lounge or doors opening out to a private patio. There is also Brewhouse Cottage, Cadaman Cottage and Compasses Cottage which all sleep 4 people in 2 bedrooms, with their own sitting room and kitchen.

The food menus value the very best produce our local area has to offer. Head Chef Stuart and his kitchen team create a delicious selection of innovative and memorable dishes. Sample menus are available to view on our website, including à la carte, vegetarian and vegan, pub classics, children’s and Sunday roasts. The bar also serves a selection of real ales, fine wines, malt whiskies and over 100 gins.
