Whitcliffe Camp Site is a small, friendly site overlooking the market town of Ludlow towards the South Shropshire Hills. Situated on a farm adjacent to the Mortimer Forest and Whitcliffe Common Nature Reserve, this site is ideal for a range of travellers including holidaymakers, walkers, cyclists and wildlife-watchers.
The site offers 11 acres of level grass pitches, with or without electric hook-up; accommodating tents, touring caravans and motorhomes alike. Children under the age of 4 stay for free and well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay. There are hot showers, toilets, washing-up sinks, power points and chemical toilet disposal available.
The railway station is less than 2 miles away, with direct trains to Manchester and Cardiff for those arriving on foot. The surrounding area is famed for its scenic walks, mountain biking trails and fishing sites. The historic market town of Ludlow has an 11th century castle, various shops, places to eat and plenty of leisure facilities.
