Little Satmar is a touring and holiday park situated on the edge of the Kent Downs in Chapel-le-Ferne, near Folkestone. Ideally placed for the ferries and Eurotunnel services to France, it is a perfect choice for a convenient stopover en route to the continent or as a holiday base for exploring this beautiful part of south-east England.
There is an area for touring caravans and motorhomes, with a choice of grass, hardstanding with and without electricity, and a tent field. The 2 amenities blocks have clean toilets and showers, with dishwashing and laundry areas available in one. Wifi is provided and the small shop sells everyday essentials. Dogs are allowed.
The Abbot’s Cliff Sound Mirror and Samphire Hoe Beach are close and there are many scenic walks in the Downs and along cliff tops. Ride the miniature trains on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, experience an African safari at the Port Lympne Reserve or see the Martello Towers constructed during the Napoleonic war.
