Fen Farm

Fen Farm Caravan Site is a family-owned camping and touring site situated in East Mersea on Mersea Island, off the coast of Essex and about 9 miles south of Colchester. The farm provides a scenic and peaceful setting close to the sea and a country park. Dogs are welcome and there are dog walks all around the site. There are also many footpath walks nearby, as well as a dog-friendly beach.

This site accommodates visiting tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, with plenty of space and a play area for the children. There are spotlessly clean toilets and shower blocks heated by solar energy, a washing-up area, freezer storage and laundry room. There is also a family room and accessible facilities for guest with disabilities. Wifi is available and gas exchange can be arranged at reception.

The campsite is ideal for wildlife-watching and outdoors activities, as Cudmore Grove Country Park is close by. Mersea Island is famous for its oysters and there are plenty of places to sample this local delicacy. The Dog and Pheasant pub is within a few minutes’ walk of the site and a little further away is Mersea Barns Café and Shop. Mersea Island Vineyard is also within a few miles.
