The Edgemoor Hotel and Restaurant

The Edgemoor Hotel and Restaurant offers first-class accommodation in tranquil countryside, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park in Devon. This former school, built in 1879, has been beautifully updated, but retains much of the original charm and character. The hotel is the perfect venue for your romantic getaway, business trip or family holiday in the area. We are also highly experienced in hosting functions such as weddings, parties and conferences.

There are 17 bedrooms at The Edgemoor, including single rooms, couples rooms, superior couples rooms and family rooms. There are 11 in the main house, once the boys dormitories, plus our 6 dog-friendly rooms with a patio in the Woodland Wing. All are immaculately presented and well-resourced. We offer a superb range of breakfast buffet options, followed by your choice of hot meal from our menu. Our team take great pride in offering excellent meals using a range of local produce where possible, and we cater for special diets. We also have our Gym Bar with a selection of drinks, bar snacks and where dogs are welcome.

The hotel is close to the town of Bovey Tracey and a short drive from Newton Abbot which are both market-lovers paradise! The Edgemoor is also extremely well-placed to enjoy the wonders and beauty of Dartmoor National Park and the sparkling blue seas and sandy beaches of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
