Duntrune Castle Holiday Cottages are 4 stone-built self-catering properties sleeping from 2 up to 5 guests, situated on the estate of this historic 16th century castle, near Lochgilphead in Argyll and Bute. Nestled within 5000 acres of land with beautiful gardens, 6 miles of shore and stunning views of the loch, this accommodation provides a perfect holiday retreat and base for exploring the area.

The Bothy is a cosy cottage for couples converted from the old castle office, with an open wooden staircase from the living area to the double bedroom above. Mother’s Brown Cottage is the original castle lodge sleeping 4 in a ground floor double bedroom and a twin room up the spiral staircase in the attic. Castle Cottage and Stag Cottage both sleep 5 in a double, twin and single bedroom.

These holiday homes have been sensitively modernised and provide a host of modern comforts. All have a comfortable living space, equipped kitchen, TV, bathroom and garden. A shared laundry room is available in the nearby stables and there is plenty of car parking. The castle gardens are also open for resident and non-resident guests.
