Browns Hotel

Welcome to Brown’s Hotel, a mid-18th century establishment offering boutique-style accommodation in the estuary town of Laugharne. Famously once frequented by the poet Dylan Thomas, guests today enjoy luxurious guest rooms, fine food and a friendly bar, with Wifi throughout, on-site parking and EV chargers for electric cars.

All 14 bedrooms are individually-named and furnished to a high standard. Each has a king size bed, en suite facilities, air conditioning / heating system, eco-friendly toiletries, TV, Wifi, media bar, hairdryer, fridge, beverage tray and coffee pod machine. The most luxurious is the double-height Talacharn Room at the top of the hotel which features a separate seating area with desk, sofa bed and a double roll top bath in the en suite.

Breakfast is available to overnight guests in the morning. Guests can also enjoy a cocktail in the bar or dishes from the newly-opened Dexter’s Steak House and Grill which offer a complete farm to fork story, focusing on the Dexter breed of cattle.
