The Bell at Skenfrith

The Bell at Skenfrith is a luxurious hotel and restaurant in a village setting, close to the Wales / England border, a few miles NW of Monmouth. A Visit Wales 5-Star rated former coaching inn, guests experience excellent hospitality, boutique-style guest rooms and fine food, overlooking the River Monnow. Dogs are welcome.

The 11 bedrooms are individually furnished with contemporary décor and named after brown trout fishing flies. Some have a sitting room. Each has en suite facilities, toiletries, FreeSat TV, Wifi, telephone, hospitality tray and a comfortable double bed. An extra folding bed can be provided for children. For special occasions, champagne and flowers can be arranged prior to arrival.

In the morning, a delicious full Welsh breakfast helps to start the day. The bar and restaurant serves a wide selection of drinks and a menu comprising award-winning food made from fresh local ingredients, including produce grown in the hotel’s kitchen garden. Outside, The Bell has a charming outdoor seating area with a marquee, plus car parking.
