The Greyhound Inn

The Greyhound Inn is a 18th century stone-built country pub providing good food and bed and breakfast accommodation in Usk near Newport. Visit Wales 4-Star rated and with a Trip Advisor Travellers’ Choice Award, the pub is a popular stopover for tourists, walkers following the Usk Valley Walk and cyclists on Cycle Route 42.

All 10 bedrooms are in the stylishly converted stables adjacent to the main building. Each is equipped with a luxurious en suite shower room, complimentary toiletries, free Wifi, TV, hairdryer and beverage tray. The ground floor rooms open out onto the terrace and there are 2 rooms which have been specially adapted for guests with disabilities. Dog-friendly throughout, pets enjoy their own beds and treats.

There is ample parking for vehicles and motorbikes, plus storage for bicycles. Overnight guests also have access to the drying room for outdoors kit. Breakfast is available in the morning and resident and non-resident guests can sample dishes from the traditional home cooked food menu, either inside or out in the lovely garden. The dining room can also be hired for groups or private events such as parties and weddings.
