Glenferness Estate

For a peaceful and scenic holiday in the Scottish Highlands, come and stay at Glenferness Estate, approximately 2 miles from the village of Ferness. There are 5 superb holiday homes to choose from, each offering self-catering accommodation, surrounded by Caledonian pine woodlands, stunning scenery and rugged terrain carved out by the River Findhorn.

The Wooden House is a late-19th century Norwegian-style chalet sleeping up to 8 people. East and West Stable Cottages were built in the mid-19th century and sleep 5 or 6 people. Balintore Cottage is a stone-built property for 2 to 4 guests, with a cosy gallery area upstairs, and The Studio is a former 19th century painting studio providing a cosy bolthole for 2 people.

The cottages (except The Studio) have Wifi access. All have an equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and central heating derived from the biomass boiler. The excellent on-site facilities include a squash court, games room and climbing wall. Fly fishing is available along the river and there are walks and cycling trails through the woodlands. Shooting can also be arranged.
