Arbuthnott Holiday Lets are 4 self-catering cottages on a country estate near Laurencekirk. Surrounded by grazing fields for the resident cattle, woodlands and with fishing on the River Bervie, there are many walks and cycling trails around the estate. Arbuthnott House is in the centre and open 10 days a year, by appointment.
Each cottage is unique, refurbished from traditional stone buildings on the estate. All are equipped with Wifi access and central heating from a biomass boiler. A welcome pack is provided for guests’ arrival. Car parking is available for all cottages, with an EV charger nearby. Pets are welcome with prior agreement.
Garden Cottage, near the river and garden of Arbuthnott House, is in a secluded setting, sleeping 7 people. The other 3 cottages have all been converted from the former village school, dating from 1900. Sunset Song sleeps 5; Grey Granite sleeps 5 or 6; and Cloud Howe sleeps 6 guests, including a ground floor double bedroom.
