East Wing of Dorevay

The East Wing of Dorevay is a self-contained annexe of a grand 1940s country house situated in Birse, across the river from the village of Aboyne. Offering a self-catering holiday home for 2 guests and surrounded by 3 acres of land with beautiful woodlands, it provides a quiet and relaxing place to stay in Aberdeenshire.

Downstairs is a fully-equipped kitchen with a washer / dryer and dining table. Upstairs is a sitting room with TV and telephone, a double bedroom and a bathroom. Outside, there is a seating area, summer house and parking. An extra en suite bedroom is sometimes available in the main house if extra space is needed.

Secure storage for bicycles and equipment can be provided with prior notice. There is fishing along the local rivers and Aboyne is home to one of the oldest golf courses on Royal Deeside. The Cairngorms National Park is also close by offering a wide range of outdoors activities and sightseeing opportunities.
