Drumgesk B&B

Drumgesk Bed and Breakfast is a late 19th century former croft house situated in Dess, 2 miles outside Aboyne and on the edge of the Highlands in Aberdeenshire. Surrounded by the beautiful Dee Valley, with the Cairngorms National Park just a short drive away to the west, it provides an excellent place to stay for travellers in the area.

Guest bedrooms contain central heating, en suite facilities, a fridge, microwave, hairdryer and hospitality tray. There are double rooms and a family suite for 6 featuring a double room and an adjoining room with 2 sets of bunks. Guests can also relax in the lounge or garden during their visit. A full Scottish breakfast is included.

There are many scenic walks and outdoors pursuits in the local area, with the spectacular Dess Waterfall just a mile away. Aboyne is midway between Ballater and Banchory on the old military road (A93), with plenty of amenities and local businesses. It is popular with people stopping off to visit nearby Balmoral Castle.
