Lynton House

Lynton House Bed and Breakfast is ideally situated on the seafront in Teignmouth, adjacent to the town and river beach and close to the fantastic new play park for kids. This is an attractive and historical building, dating from the 1860s, and run by friendly host Glyn. The 12 rooms are all en-suite and most have delightful sea or river views, with a TV and hospitality tray. There is a lift to the first floor for guests that have access needs. Breakfast is served in our spacious and light dining room, and encompasses a wide range of both hot and cold choices, however we also offer a room only rate when booked directly. Lynton House has a comfortable lounge, restaurant and bar. There is on-street parking outside for disabled badge holders and an ample car park conveniently close to the hotel.

Teignmouth is perfect for your family holiday, short break or romantic getaway. Enjoy the sea beach with its promenade and amusement arcade, or the quieter dog-friendly river beach (or back beach) at the head of the River Teign which is filled with fishing boats. There are plenty of water sports to try from kayaking and sailing to paddle boarding and jet skiing. The wide estuary offers sheltered waters for beginners. Teignmouth Carnival is held during July and there is also a summer folk festival and the Sea Shanty Festival is held by annualy at the beginning of September, not to be missed!
