Myrtle Cottage

Myrtle Cottage is a charming 400-year-old thatched cottage offering bed and breakfast accommodation in the centre of the village of Porlock. Within walking distance to the beach and on the edge of Exmoor, it is perfectly placed for walking, cycling or fishing around the local area. Families with children and dogs are welcome.

All rooms are comfortably furnished and include original beamed ceilings. Each is equipped with en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, a TV, free Wifi, hairdryer and beverage tray. There is a double room with sea views, another double, a family room for 3 and a family suite in the eaves of the farmhouse consisting of a double room and adjoining twin room.

A hearty full English breakfast is served in the morning made from locally-sourced ingredients, with fresh coffee which has been roasted in the village and homemade preserves. Special diets can be accommodated with prior notice. Guests can also relax in the cosy sitting room with its roaring log fire or outside in the patio garden during their stay.
