The Old Cider House

The Old Cider House is a welcoming pet-friendly bed and breakfast located in the historic Somerset village of Nether Stowey on the edge of the Quantock Hills. As well as guest rooms, there is a bar serving home brewed drinks from the on-site microbrewery and nano distillery. Hosts Ian and Lynne offer a warm welcome.

Castle Room has a 4-poster bed, whereas Quantock and Stowey can be set up as a super king or twin room. Poets Room has a king size bed. All have an en suite shower room, complimentary toiletries, Freeview TV, hairdryer, coffee pod machine and beverage tray. Quantock and Poets are dog-friendly rooms and pets can even enjoy a sausage breakfast in the morning! Human guests will be served a full English or vegetarian breakfast and evening meals can be provided by prior arrangement. Local and organic produce, including some from our garden, are used whenever possible. Homemade bread, jam, marmalade and chutneys are available, as well as our own beer and gin.
