Huntshaw Barton

Perfectly nestled in a peaceful North Devon hamlet surrounded by panoramic countryside views, Huntshaw Barton is a listed farmhouse steeped in history dating back to the 10th century. We offer a warm welcome and an excellent location from which to explore the area, only a few miles from the ancient market town of Great Torrington and close to Bideford and Barnstaple.

We offer two spacious, tastefully decorated and comfortable en-suite rooms, both fully equipped with all that you will need for a wonderful stay including tea and coffee facilities, quality mattress and bed linen to ensure restful sleep, flatscreen TV, Hairdryer and lovely views over fields and ancient woodland. Breakfast is served in our Dining Room with a choice of continental of set yourself up for the day with a freshly cooked full breakfast using local Devon produce.

With so much to see and do in the area you will be truly spoilt for choice, take a stroll in RHS Rosemoor, cycle along the Tarka Trail, picturesque seaside villages and towns to explore with their many shops and restaurants and miles of golden sandy beaches. Dartmoor, Exmoor and the spectacular coastline of North Devon are only a short car ride away.

We are also pleased to offer self catering accommodation in Primrose Cottage, a delightful two bedroomed character cottage set within the grounds of Huntshaw Barton.
