The Golden Fleece

The Golden Fleece is a luxurious bed and breakfast situated on the outskirts of South Chard, 2 miles outside the main town. Nestled in the beautiful Axe Valley in Somerset, near the Dorset and Devonshire borders and close to the scenic Blackdown Hills AONB, it is perfect for walkers, tourists or business guests in the area.

The 5 bedrooms are in a separate building at the rear of the house, with parking outside. All on ground floor with their own front doors, they are furnished to a high standard, with en suite facilities, TV, Wifi, desk, hairdryer and a beverage tray. There are flexible twin / super king bedded rooms, king size and interconnecting bedrooms.

Each room has their own outside seating area in one of the patios, and guests can also make use of the adjacent paddock. Dogs are allowed with prior agreement. Breakfast is served in the breakfast lounge of the main house or in the comfort of your own room, from a choice of a full English or lighter option, served with homemade preserves.
