Welcome to 95 Sydney Place, a grand Regency town house offering bed and breakfast accommodation in the historic city of Bath. Used as the set for Sir Walter Elliot’s House in the 1995 BBC adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel ‘Persuasion’, the whole house has been lovingly restored, with elegant décor and furnishings that reflect the home of an English peer during that time.

All 5 guest rooms are individually decorated, with the feature rooms named after characters in the book. All have Wifi, a hairdryer, desk and either private or en suite facilities. Sir Walter’s Room is a twin / king room with bespoke wallpaper recreated from prints of the original wallpaper and Mrs Smith’s Room is another twin / king room with a sofa bed for an additional person.

Guests can also sit in the beautiful first floor drawing room, with views across to Sydney Gardens from the large windows. A full English or continental breakfast can be taken in the conservatory or kitchen, and guests can also sit out in the garden during fine weather. On-street parking is available outside and the city centre is only half a mile away over the historic Pulteney Bridge.
